Sikkim with Lachung Tour

After breakfast start for an excursion to Tsomgo Lake (12,400 ft.) & Baba Mandir (13,200 ft.) which is 55 kms one way from Gangtok city. Overnight at Gangtok.

After breakfast at the hotel and proceed for drive to Lachung enroute visiting villages and water falls. Overnight at Lachung.

Breakfast at the hotel and excursion to Yumthang Valley & back. - The valley of flowers. Flora, Fauna, Rhododendrons and Primulas and found in abundance. Yumthang is the summer grazing grounds of the Yaks. On the way back visit the Sulphur Hot Spring, considered to have medicinal properties. . Overnight at Lachung.

Breakfast at the hotel and drive to Gangtok. Arrive Gangtok by late evening. Overnight at Gangtok.

After breakfast at the hotel and proceed for city tour visiting Tashi View Point, Ganesh Tok, Do Drul Chorten, Namgyal Institute of Tibetology (closed on Sundays), Cottage Industry (closed on Sundays) and Flower Show Complex. Afternoon drive from Gangtok to Pelling. This village is situated at an altitude of 2000 mts (approx.) and commands a spectacular view of Mt.Kanchenjunga. On arrival check-in to your hotel. Overnight at Pelling.

After breakfast proceed for city tour visiting Pemayangste Monastery, Rabtense Ruins, Helipad, Rambi, Darap, Khechipalri Lake, Kanchenjunga Fall and Rock Garden. Overnight stay at Pelling.

After breakfast transfer to Darjeeling (6,710 ft.). On arrival check-in to hotel & rest of the day free. Overnight at Darjeeling.

Early morning visit Tiger Hill to see a beautiful sunrise and Himalayan Range like Kanchandzonga, Mount Everest etc. One can see the horizon changing colors just before sunrise and then the entire Himalayan range turn golden. It is truly a majestic sight and Ghoom Monastery which is oldest Monastery in the area which was built in 1875 and one can see the image of Mythey Buddha 15ft. height on the way back from Tiger Hill. After breakfast at the hotel and proceed for city tour visiting Himalayan Mountaineering Institute(closed on Thursday) which was started by Tenzing Norgay after he climbed Mt. Everest, Zoological Park(closed on Thursday), Tibetan Refugee Centre (closed on Sunday), Tenzing Rock, Gombu Rock and Happy Valley Tea Estate(from outside). Overnight at Darjeeling.
