Daywise Tour Itinerary

Upon arrival at Guwahati Airport, our Tour Manager will meet you and ensure a smooth transition to the hotel or the sightseeing spot, as per the itinerary.

Today morning we enjoy an exciting Jeep Safari at Kaziranga National Park – a UNESCO World Heritage Site known for its rich biodiversity. Keep your cameras ready as we try spotting the majestic one-horned rhinos, elephants, wild boars, swamp deer, and numerous migratory birds.

Later we visit Orchid Park – home to over 600 varieties of orchids, a bamboo garden, a medicinal plant section, and a cultural museum.

Later we visit the picturesque and the lush green Tea Gardens. In the evening, we enjoy an energetic performance of Bihu dance – the vibrant folk dance of Assam.

Today we begin our journey into the Eastern Himalayas. En route to Bomdila, we visit Mahabhairab Temple – one of the oldest temples in Assam dedicated to Lord Shiva. En route, we take a photo stop at the majestic Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Statue.

Today we drive to the beautiful town of Tawang. En route, we pass through Sela Pass – located at 13,700 feet, offering mesmerizing views of the snow-capped peaks, and Sela Lake – also known as Paradise Lake.
We then visit Jaswant Garh Indo-China War Memorial – dedicated to the brave soldier Jaswant Singh Rawat.

Today early morning, we proceed to Bum La Pass (subject to permission from the Indian Army and weather conditions) – a significant Indo-China border post located at 15,200 ft above sea level.

Later, we visit the stunning P.T. Tso Lake (Peng Teng Tso) and the serene Shungatser Lake – popularly known as Madhuri Lake, named after the actress Madhuri Dixit, as it featured in the Bollywood movie Koyla.

Today we explore more of Tawang’s spiritual and historical gems. We visit the famous Tawang Monastery – the second-largest monastery in the world and a center of Mahayana Buddhism. Later we visit the Ani Gompa – a unique monastery run by nuns, followed by the Grand Buddha Statue and temple and in the evening, we pay tribute at the Tawang War Memorial and enjoy the patriotic Sound and Light Show – an experience that stirs every Indian’s heart.

Today we begin our return journey via the newly constructed Sela Tunnel and proceed to Dirang – a scenic valley town in Arunachal.

En route, we halt at the breathtaking Nuranang Falls at Jang – one of Arunachal's most spectacular waterfalls, offering a majestic view and a refreshing break.

Today we drive back to Guwahati, the bustling gateway to Northeast India.

Today we begin with a visit to the sacred Kamakhya Temple – one of the 51 Shakti Peethas, where we will have Mukh Darshan. Later, we enjoy a ride on India’s longest river ropeway over the Brahmaputra, offering panoramic views of the Umananda Temple, Peacock Island, Brahmaputra River and the scenic ghats.

In the evening, we take a River cruise on the mighty Brahmaputra River.
