Daywise Itinerary

Day 1 : Bagdogra / New Jalpaiguri - Gangtok

Meet and greets at airport and transfer to Gangtok, the capital city of Sikkim is located on a ridge at a height of 5500 feet. blessed by Mt. Kanchendzonga and mighty River Teesta, a beautiful hill town in northeast state. Check-in at the hotel and enjoy the evening free, you can visit M.G Marg by walking, overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 2 : Full day tour to Tsomgo Lake and Baba Mandir

In the morning go on full day excursion trip to Tsomgo Lake (12400 ft), and Baba Harbhajan Singh Mandir which is only 32 km. from Gangtok, the lake is about 1 km long, oval in shape and 15 mtrs deep. The lake is considered sacred by the local people. Spend the evening at Gangtok for shopping and individual activity.

Day 3 : Gangtok to Lachen- North Sikkim (126 Kms – 6 Hours)

Morning at around 10:00 a.m. transfer to Lachen . En-route visit Seven Sisters Water Falls, Naga Waterfalls, and Singhik view point from where one can get one of the most spectacular and close views of Mt. Kanchendzonga and its ranges. On arrival check in to Hotel, Leisure Evening Overnight at Lachen.

Day 4 : Excursion to Gurudongmar Lake & Transfer to Lachung (181 Kms – 8 Hours)

Early in the morning without breakfast at 4 am proceed to Gurudongmar Lake (17200ft) 3 hours drive from Lachen, via Thangu and Chopta valley; take noodle with soup as breakfast, tea or coffee at Thangu valley (This is a acclimatized zone before proceeding to Gurudongmar Lake /Guru with red face), Proceed ahead watching beautiful landscaped and barren land (Gurudongmar lake is one of the Sacred lake where Guru Padmasambhava taken one night stay out here before leaving for Tibet (it’s a border area of Sikkim and Tibet). Back to Lachen at 12 noon take a Lunch and transfer to Lachung. overnight stay.

Day 5 : Lachung to Yumthang Valley (52 Kms – 2.5 Hours)

Morning after breakfast excursion trip to Yumthang valley 26 km. from Lachung at 11800 ft. It’s known as valley of flowers- with marvelous blend of flora & fauna and hot springs. Leisure Evening, Night Stay at Lachung.

Day 6 : Lachung to Gangtok (128 Kms – 5 Hours)

After breakfast return back to Gangtok, Take a rest for next day trip. Night stay at Gangtok.

Day 7 : Gangtok to Pelling

After Breakfast transfer to Pelling a beautiful town in the West district of Sikkim, has become the second biggest tourist destination in Sikkim after Gangtok. The pleasant little town of Pelling is famous for magnificent views of the snow-capped Kanchenjunga range, the third highest peak in the world. On arrival check in at the hotel. Leisure Evening; Overnight Stay.

Day 8 : Pelling Sightseeing

After breakfast transfer to Pelling west Sikkim a beautiful village form where one can see closest view of Mt. Kanchenjunga and other Snow peaks Check in the Hotel and enjoy Pelling sightseeing covers: Khecheopalri Lake (A sacred Lake - Hinduism and Buddhism pray here to fulfill their wish, and of the holy Lake in Sikkim) and also known as wishing Lake 2 hours drive from Hotel, Rimbi Rock Garden(Garden at River valley),Rimbi Water fall, Kanchendzonga water falls on visit Pemayangtse Monastery, Rabdentse Ruins(Ruins palace, it was the 2nd capital of Sikkim after Yuksam at west Sikkim) Night stay at Pelling.
